Specializing in political photography, photojournalist Grant Miller resides in Dallas and travels the country photographing prominent members of the political community and high-profile political events. His most recent work involved photographing events for former President George W. Bush, George W. Bush Presidential Center, and also served as the official photographer for the Conservative Political Action Conference.
His prior work in Washington D.C., as a White House photographer and photo editor, Grant photographed and documented the daily lives of President George W. Bush, Vice President Dick Cheney, Mrs. Laura Bush, Mrs. Lynn Cheney and many other high-ranking officials. During his time in D.C., he photographed historic events such as the visit of Pope Benedict XVI and the G20 Summit. In addition to his publications on the White House website, Grant’s photography also has been featured on NBC’s TODAY Show, The History Channel, and the Washington Post.
Grant recounts his time as the White House photographer as the experience of a lifetime and an honor to capture history in the making from behind the lens. Since moving to Dallas, Grant has reconnected with President George W. Bush and his staff and is once again a trusted and respected photographer capturing many of personal moments for the family. He currently chronicles high-profile events, political fundraisers and galas, personal parties and other social events centered around political families. He photographed the Warrior Open, a tournament featuring U.S. service members who were severely wounded in the global war on terror and supported by The George W. Bush Presidential Center. Grant has covered many high level events for the George W. Bush Presidential Center including the Dedication Ceremony in 2013 where every living president and world leaders were in attendance as well the African First Ladies Summit in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
Grant successfully combines a comprehensive background in marketing, creative design and public relations with an uncanny ability to capture those one-of-a-kind, larger-than-life moments through a camera lens. Although Grant has earned a coveted position in political photography, his work also includes weddings, corporate events, senior portraits, family portraits, advertisement projects and more.
